Paso a paso por quinta ocasión

Cuatro intentos corriendo Windows desde una Mac Book Intel, problemas con drivers, virus, bluetooth... Ahora recapitulando desde cero con una Vaio:
1. Instalar VVVV,
descargar vvvv_40beta21.zip (12.68 Mb)
2.Software adicional:
SlimDX End User Runtime (March 2009 SP1)
.net 2.0 (Probably not needed when already installed the SlimDX Runtime)
addonpack_vvvv40beta21_01.zip (6.50 Mb) reemplazar folders

Problema: "This aplication has failed to start because d3dx9_30.dll was not found. Re-installing the aplication may fix this problem". Al foro. Recomendación instalar DirectX aunque no parezca necesario si ya se instaló el el SlimDX... Reiniciaré.

i did some googling and it seems that d3dx9_30.dll is indeed not shipped with vista. anyway it should be only the .dll that is missing which you can savely download from the net and best put it into your C:\windows\system32 directory.

no need of installing directx9c runtime though. vista ships with direcx10 and all versions of directx are downwards compatible.

tres opciones para arreglar el problema:
A)echar el .dll en system32; FAQ
B) usar el Free d3dx9_30.dll Scan
C)Pedir asesoría

Instalé el Uniblue RegistryBooster 2009 a ver si repara el .dll
Instalaré DirectX_nov2008: SOLUCIONADO

Conclusión: instalar TODO esto:
* SlimDX End User Runtime (March 2009 SP1) a .net wrapper for DirectX needed for some of the plugins. This install will also update your native DirectX version.
o DirectX Redist(ributable) latest native DirectX version (only needed if for some reaseon you don't want to install the SlimDX runtime).
* .net 2.0 needed for all vvvv plugins. (Probably not needed when already installed the SlimDX Runtime).
* addonpack_vvvv40beta21_01.zip (6.50 Mb) convenience pack of most available vvvv AddOns
